MIA

The Hobrock Family has been a little MIA for the past month. So much has been going on. Mark's father suffered a brain aneurysm and spent 21 days in ICU at OSF in Peoria. It is a miracle that he survived and we have God to thank everyday. We have all been truly blessed that he is still with us today. Besides the road trips up to Peoria, Lakin has been busy with Ballet/Tap, piano lessons, tumbling and youth group. Add strep throat (Lakin and Gage), 3 photo sessions per week (for Katie), a tractor Halloween costume (for Cousin Caleb), hunting (PLUS paid hunters) and harvest into the mix....lets say we haven't had much spare time lately. To top it off we have a few home remodeling projects that are in the planning process.
I just can't believe that October is gone and I have not got a jump start on Christmas shopping! I do not like the crowds, lines or rude people during the Holiday season so I like to get done in
plenty of time before the rush starts. Don't get me wrong....I will stand in line on Black Friday for a good deal :)

GO Cardinals and Happy Halloween from a Beardstown Tiger and an Ear of Corn!
