The first night of school and Lakin says...."Dad, you up for a challenge tonight?" Of course they both were and it was awesome to see them working together while translating and completing her homework. Lakin alternates between Spanish and English classes. One day, she is in her Spanish teachers classroom. During that day, everything is taught and spoken in Spanish....calendar, math, reading. The next day, everything is taught and spoken in English. It is amazing how much she has learned after only 1 week!

Gage is back at the babysitters from 8-3:45 everyday. She said its like he was never gone. Although, he does hold me tightly when we walk in the door....as soon as he sees Vickie or her husband Jim....he wants to stay. Here are a few pictures of our first day!
