Ketchup

Gage is talking. Sort of. For months now, he has had his own words and way of talking. He has been saying many one-syllable words now for quite some time. Recently he started saying, "Mom Mom Mom Mom" until I say "Yes, Gage." The response I usually get is "Abusah mutugbe ahwebe motuwe" followed by pointing. He always looks me staright in the eye when he says it and if I say, "What?", he says the exact same non-sense sentence again. So after the sentences, I follow him and he usually wants something he can't reach or has a problem. Just the other day, I got the "Mom" demand followed by a lot of non-sense and he then led me into the bathroom. Turns out, he was playing in the pool (AKA the toilet bowl) with Lakin's toothbrush and it fell in. He just wanted me to fish it out.
Lately though, he is saying words that we can actually make out! Of course it would only be appropriate that one of his first two-syllable words we can make out is the one thing he has to have with every meal. Lettuce, eggs, tater tots, steak, grilled cheese and many more things get dipped in this!
