Pedi

Over Christmas break I promised Lakin that I would take her to see a movie. Well, we were busy, gone, sick...blah, blah, blah....no excuses...I just didn't make time to get it done and I felt bad. There are just so many things that I would like to do but don't take the time. On top of teaching full-time, raising 2 very active kids and searching online and Craigslist for items for the lake house, my photography hobby has turned into a very busy part-time job. So....last week I told her that we would go Friday night and she could pick which movie she wanted to see. I had already made plans for Mark to watch Gage so it would be a girls night out. As were were watching our third movie trailer for Tangled, my 5 year old leaned over to me and said, "Mom, what if we skip the movie and go get pedicures!" I have no idea where that came from but I love having a girl! Maybe we will go see a movie next weekend:)
