The other night I was in the kitchen and yelled, "Dinners ready!" Lakin yelled back, "What are we having?" Gage yelled back, "Ahhhhhbabababapa." I told them that Katie's Country Kitchen would be serving roast, baked potatoes, carrots, croissants and apple sauce. The conversation continued as followed....
Lakin - "I want mashed potatoes!"
Mark - "Lakin, when you start cooking Lakin's Luscious Lunches, then you can serve whatever you want but tonight Katie's Country Kitchen is not taking orders."
Lakin - "That is NOT the name of my restaurant"
Mark - "Well then what is it?"
**Insert 2 minute pause to think**
Lakin - "Lakin's Bitchin' Kitchen"
**Insert faces with mouths dropped to the floor then uncontrollable laughter when Lakin was out of sight.** And for the record...Lakin has not heard of the word bitching before. She is in Kindergarten and loves to rhyme words and hey....it rhymes!
That seriously made me laugh so hard I darn near pee'd myself... which isn't really hard to do since I am 8 months pregnant.
