And she is how old??

Lakin rides the bus from her school to my school everyday. On Tuesday, she comes into my classroom with the biggest smile. She says, "Mom, I had my first kiss! I kissed Kaler." Of course then I had to go into the whole...we don't kiss until we are married thing. Well she proceeds to say, "But Mom...they kiss on iCarly and they aren't married (in her sassy voice)". So now in the Hobrock house ONLY cartoons (minus Spongebob).

Wednesday rolls around and she tells me that Owen told her she was the most beautiful girl in the whole world. So the next night (it was marketing meeting week so family dinners were sparce), I tell say, "Lakin, tell Dad what Owen told you yesterday." Lakin then says, "He said I'm hot." (I told her that next time he says that say, "No, actually I'm a little cold."

Seriously?? All this at 5 years old. Man are we in for it with this one!

*saying bye-bye (also has been saying dada and papa for some time)

*got 2 new teeth both on Tuesday!
