O where....O where have the Hobrocks been? (sung in my best singing voice..)
Well....Fall Music Programs, making/sewing Halloween costumes, dipping carmel apples (and we have to spend 2 hours sprinkling/icing them because Lakin thinks everything should look just like a picture), raking leaves, carving pumpkins, finishing up harvest, chasing an 8 1/2 month old everywhere (he can get up the stairs faster than I can blink), arguing over how to do Lakin's hair and what she is wearing, building deer blinds, and SOMETIME in our ever so hectic schedules.....my parents, Mark and I thought it would be a good investment to buy a house on in the Ozarks that needed a "little" work (HGTV is our favorite channel). Remodeling is somehow in my top 3 favorite things to do. Our goal this time was to find that diamond in the rough and make it shine. And.....I think we've found it!
It is a work in progress and will be probably every free weekend until April. StarBrocks is now accepting rental reservations for Spring golfers and Summer guests 2011!
Jeff, Mark, and Clay worked very hard tearing down the decks. It was a very dangerous job and we are very thankful no one was hurt. Deck free!...for the next 3 months or so.
So excited about the view from our new bedroom!
****Mark wants to make it very clear that HGTV is NOT his favorite channel. It is Katie's.
