Tonight....Gage WILL be nestled, all snug in this cage...oops.....I mean crib. Our little escape artist was coming into our room to sleep on our chests (literally!) and we couldn't take it anymore! As soon as we would put him in his crib, he would be right behind us chasing us to our room. And yes, we were running from him to get our door shut and he thought it was quite comical. Even at 3am! I decided to see exactly how he was climbing down from his crib and this is what I saw...
**Ok...I had a video of Gage..FALLING from the side of his crib...BUT thought that maybe I should take it down because it does look really bad! But he wan't hurt and thought it was funny!
Yes, I dropped the phone and ran to his rescue! He had escaped 2 nights in a row and we never heard a thud! I thought he was climbing down the side of the crib...not falling! After he fell, he hit the food running just like he knew what he was doing. My heard skipped quite a few beats!
As for tonight (for his safety and our sanity), Gage will be sleeping until he is rescued from his "cage". Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD NIGHTS REST!
