Today is Wednesday so it is Chapel Day at Lakin's school. Luckily her green dress from last Easter still fits so she doesn't get a "love pinch" (as she calls it). I tell her to stand by the door so I can take her pictures with the Shamrock she is giving her teacher. I tell her she looks like a beautiful young Irish lady. Lakin's response, "I am not an Irish lady! I am an Irish Fox!"
A little family background....The other day, Papa Starkey was telling Lakin about his parents and told her that Mimi Starkey’s maiden name was Fox. Well, he proceeds to tell her that she is "part Fox" and this has fascinated her ever since. She loves telling people that she is part Fox!
