Bad Boy Bobby!

So as many of you probably know, Lakin has an imaginary friend named Bobby. He has been with us for about 2 1/2 years and has become a part of our family. It has come to the point that we have pictures of him in our living room (see picture) and he frequently says the prayer for us at mealtime. Sometimes he even brings around "Girl" Bobby.
So the other day, Mark and I were in the parking lot of a store talking about what I was going in to get and Lakin gets out of her seat belt to stand behind Gage's seat to see him. The next thing we know, we hear this conversation happening.....

Lakin: "No Bobby, I can't do it. I won't. Thats not very nice Bobby. Bobby, if I do it, it will hurt the baby! No! Bobby, I said I can't do it. I will get in big trouble Bobby! I don't want to hurt that baby!"

So by this point of course Mark and I are all ears trying to figure out the situation.

Mark: "Lakin who are you talking to?"
Lakin: "Nobody"
Katie: "Lakin, we heard you talking to Bobby. Now what did he want you to do?"
Lakin: "I am not going to do it."
Mark: "What was it?"
Lakin: "I am not going to tell you because I will get in trouble."
Mark: "Lakin tell us right now or you WILL be in trouble!"
Lakin: "I was never going to do it because I know it would be bad and it would hurt the baby."
Mark: "Tell us NOW!"
Lakin: "You sure I won't get in trouble?"
Katie: "Yes, now tell us!"
Lakin: "Well, Bobby wanted me to press the button that makes the seat that Gage is in collapse. He wanted to see what would happen to the baby if I pressed the button."
(Side note -- In case you have never seen this happen in our suburban, when you press this button, the middle seat collapes with great and violent force!)

This hasn't been the first instance of Bobby trying to get Lakin in trouble and I am sure it won't be the last!
