Gage had a wonderful 3rd Dump Truck Birthday party. He is all boy and LOVES tractors and big trucks. There has been a dump truck for sale by the grocery store on town for the past 6 months. Every time we drive by he says, "Theres that dump truck. It is still for sale and I'm going to buy it!" He is going to be heartbroken the day that we go by and it is sold.
I didn't go all out for the games this year. When the kids get together, they just love to run around and play. We (being Lakin and I) had black table clothes and we put yellow duct tape down the middle to turn them into a road. I cheated and actually ordered Gage's invites this year and a fabulous shirt with his name on it (did I mention that I LOVE etsy!). The kids loved driving the construction vehicles around and around the tables. I even found construction cone candles! And of course everyone that came to the party was outfitted with a name tag that said their name and "crew"while Gage was the "head foreman". For their treats, I gave each child a hard hat, cloth tool belt filled with goodies.
