Last summer, we spent 4 very long days, house hunting in the Ozarks. Lake and Gage were both troopers. We spent a lot of time at some lake houses, while others, we literally pulled in the driveway and turned around. We talked about where her pictures would hang and which bedroom she would choose. A few weeks later, she was laying in bed and said, "Mom, when do I get to meet my new friends?" I was confused and asked her what she meant. She said, "Well, since we are moving to the Ozarks, I will have all new friends at my new school!" I guess it was a good thing that she was totally up for the change, even though the whole time, she misunderstood the situation.
Lakin spent her 'week~long' birthday in the Ozarks. She has discovered that there is so much to do there and just loves her new bedroom. Her favorite thing is to walk along the shoreline and search for shells. She couldn't have had a better birthday week!
